Portrait photography is all about capturing a person’s personality. It can be one of the most thought-provoking forms of photography. Capturing a photo that seems natural and expresses the subject’s personality is a skill that takes persistence and practice.

The good news is that it doesn’t rely on expensive equipment; portrait photography is all about capturing the sense of a person’s character rather than creating a technically impeccable composition. Natural light has always been the best way to make the best natural portrait. During my career, I had opportunities to make portraits of thousands of people, from a man on the street wearing funky sunglasses to CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, musicians, artists, actors, actress, dancers, sports personalities.
